Greetings to all Oregon Crafted artists, crafters, partners, and supporters!

Make sure to have your Oregon Crafted signs out (be sure that the sign is on your property and not in the public right of way). If you are not able to have your studio open, please post a sign with your regrets and when you will be open again.
Keep Art Alive Auction New Date – February 9th, 2008
The new date for the 1st Annual Oregon Crafted Auction will be Saturday, February 9th, 2008, 7 pm – 10 pm. It will take place at the Mallard Banquet Hall, 725 W. 1st Ave., in Eugene. We have over 100 incredible pieces of donated art in a variety of styles and mediums for the auction, along with experiential adventures and packages, gift baskets, and more. This fun event is to benefit Oregon Crafted and artist programs. Bring your friends! Sponsor a table! Enjoy yourself! And purchase a lifetime of beauty!
Oregon Crafted Media Workshop – November 10, 2007
This workshop will be offered in both Eugene and Corvallis, 9:30 am – 1 pm. The workshop will share information about marketing, publicity, advertising, and working with reporters to prepare press releases for newspapers and other media avenues. The Eugene workshop will take place at the LCC Downtown Center, 1059 Willamette St., Room 202. In Corvallis, the workshop will be at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, 645 NW Monroe St. The cost is $25 for Oregon Crafted members, and $35 for non-members. Pre-registration is required. Guidebooks can be ordered online at www.oregoncrafted.org or call the Oregon Crafted office at 541-687-8353. Artists: If you have not picked up your Guidebooks, please call the office for a location close to you to pickup your books.

The drawing for the Prius has been extended, and will take place on December 21st, 2007, at noon at the Jacobs Gallery, Hult Center, 7th & Willamette, in Eugene. Carol Westlake Benefit Art Auction – Sunday, November 4, 2007
Eugene artist and jeweler Carol Westlake is undergoing treatment for liver cancer. To help with her medical expenses, many of Oregon’s finest artists have donated their work and are hosting a great fundraising event. Please come and enjoy an evening with friends and supporters of the arts community. The event will take place from 5 pm – 9 pm, at the MidTown Marketplace & Bel Ami Restaurant, 1591 Willamette St., Eugene. All proceeds will go to the Carol Westlake Cancer Fund. Donations may be made to the fund at any Oregon Community Credit Union.
