Other topics that will be covered include: branding, logos, photographing artwork, and creating your online presence.

MAY WORKSHOP!!
Putting Your Best Word Forward
Tina Rinaldi, Presenter
Saturday, May 10, 2008 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (bring a sack lunch)
$25 Oregon Crafted Members and $35 Non-Members
Oregon Crafted Office Building, 220 E 11th, Suite 5, Eugene
This interactive, four-hour workshop will address how you write and talk about your art. So you’ve decided to create your portfolio or design your website. But no matter how hard you try, you just can’t get your artist’s statement right. Or you’re showing your work in a gallery and they want you to speak at the opening reception. But you’re just not sure what to say or where to start. In incremental steps we’ll work on crafting the verbal and written messages that help support your work and connect viewers in a deeper, more essential way to your work. Bring your lunch and plan to have a great time talking (and writing) all about YOUR work!
